The first movie of the week is a documentary I've been wanting to see for a while: Born Rich. The heir of the Johnson & Johnson fortune is the creator. He interviews other rich kids to find out how it feels to be born so wealthy working is not necessary. A few of them complained about their frustration of finding something to do with their time, and I was not sympathetic. Money can't change everything, but it can help you live comfortably, so you have time to cultivate your true passions and discover what makes you feel alive.
I enjoyed the interviews. I'm fascinated by the lives of others, and I liked listening to their stories and backgrounds. Some of the guys were a tad burnt from partying with drugs they openly admitted to partaking in. It was an extremely simple, to-the-point, quiet film. I didn't gain much insight, and it seemed to be an indulgent piece about braggarts.
